A great class. Happy to be a part of an amazing community and able to learn a new skill. Thank you Ms. Beth, for taking your time to share your talents, allowing us to be in a mindset of catharsis, and giving us feedback along the way. A fantastic experience.

Easy Supplies for Creative Catharsis: Online Watercolor Classes

Because we will be exploring cathartic play,  you will not need high end supplies (unless you want them!) but I have included my recommendations in the Amazon supply list. What you will need for every class is:

  1. watercolor paper (140lb or heavier) - I recommend cold press / rough paper

  2. watercolor paint - choose either dry pan or tube paint - you do not need both and they are very similar in final application/appearance

  3. a mixing palette / non-porous surface - you only NEED this if you are using tube paint. Dry palettes come with a small mixing space

  4. a medium sized round brush - either a no.6, no.8 or no.10

  5. a medium size flat brush - between 3/4in to 1 1/4 inch

  6. masking tape

  7. masking fluid

ALL other items on the list are optional and may be used occasionally during the Spring 2021 session. If you are joining the session with another person in the household, you can certainly share the paint and water jar, but should have your own brushes, paper and mixing surface.  You will also be able to use most of these supplies across all the classes. You may source these supplies from other sites/stores and brands as well. Do what works best for your interest level and your budget!
